Happy Saturday! I cannot believe we’re already in the second week of November. Time is FLYING by this year. I have so many exciting things in store for you guys in the next two weeks, and I can’t wait to share them!
For now, I had to share with you guys my favorite bralette of all time. It’s honestly so good that I bought it in three colors! I’m not sure about you guys, but I always had a hard time finding a bralette that had full coverage, wasn’t see-thru and had the correct fit I was looking for. Well guys, look no further because this one has it all. It’s SO cute under tanks or sweaters (especially with the eyelet lace detail) and has enough coverage that you don’t need to wear a bra under it (because isn’t that the whole point?). I know it may be a little more than you were looking to spend, but I promise it’s worth every penny. It’s better to buy one bralette you can wear over and over than a bunch of cheap ones you end up hating.
So since we’re already almost to the middle of November (WHAT), I wanted to share with you guys a little fall bucket list. I know this is the time of year when most people are considering putting up their Christmas decorations (guilty), which is totally fine – I’m all for beginning celebrations early. But I’ve also realized that I’m always feeling rushed, eager and stressed about things because I don’t spend enough time enjoying the season I’m in at that moment. And I don’t mean the actual season (spring, summer, fall, winter). What I mean is I always feel like I’m focused too much on the future and what I need to do, that I never stop and actually enjoy what’s going on in the present. I am learning to be content exactly where I am, and learning to soak up every second of it. So here’s a few ideas for you guys to do before fall ends and winter begins:
2. Go to a pumpkin patch – take a picture, and post on Instagram. Is it even fall if you don’t do this? 😉
3. Have a bonfire with s’mores – once the weather cools down a bit, this is one of my favorite things to do. Curl up by the fire with friends or family and indulge in a good ol’ s’more (or 2 or 3!)
4. Bake a pie from scratch – be your own Betty Crocker!
5. Visit a farmers market – support local farmers and small businesses. They have the BEST produce available!
6. Make some chili– because is there anything better on a cold night than chili?! This is my go-to recipe. SO easy to throw together and very healthy + the man in your life will LOVE it!
7. Volunteer as a family – nothing will bring you more joy than giving back to others, and there’s something so rewarding when you do it as a family.
8. Go on a bike ride – or really, anything that gets you outside to enjoy this beautiful weather! Winter will be here soon, which means blistering cold in many parts of the country. So get out and enjoy it while you can!
9. Make pumpkin bread – I love this one because it’s incredibly easy and SO good, but if you’re looking for something a little healthier, I make this one all the time as well.
10. Decorate the front porch – this was the first fall we’ve had since we became home owners, so I had so much fun decorating my front porch for fall. But one thing I learned: I suck at keeping mums alive (or any plants for that matter).
11. Find the best hot chocolate – I’m a sucker for hot coco, so I’m dying to hear y’alls suggestions! My favorite is the salted caramel hot chocolate from Starbucks!
12. Watch a scary movie under cozy blankets – or if you’re like me, spend most of the movie under the blanket because you’re so scared 😉
What are you guys doing this weekend? I’m nannying my three favorite girls all weekend and we’re about to leave to go to the Houston Nutcracker Market. Have you guys ever been?! It’s basically a HUGE Christmas farmers market with a TON of different vendors selling home decor, clothes, furniture, food and all the Christmas decorations you could ever imagine. It’s so much fun and the girls are so excited so that makes me happy. Then hopefully we can check a few more things off my list!
Is there anything else on your fall bucket list? Let me know in the comments below. I hope you guys have a great weekend!
