Is it just me or are girls night ins good for the soul?!
There’s nothing better than having your girlfriends over, building a cheese board and opening a bottle (or two) of wine while laughing and talking for hours. I’m such a homebody that I would easily prefer that over going out any day.
GIRLS NIGHT IN IDEAS & TIPS:
1. Put together some easy-to-eat finger foods that pair well with your drink of choice.
- In my opinion, nothing tastes better with wine than some cheese and crackers. Start with your meats and cheeses. I always like to get a variety of options to make sure your guests are happy! Pick from several different cured meats – my favorites are prosciutto, ham and salami. Then select your cheeses – depending on how many people you are serving, I like to get at least four different types of cheese. Then get several different cracker options to add some variety. My go-to’s are Blue Diamond Almond Nut Thins, Pretzel Thins, Wheat Thins and Cranberry Hazelnut Crackers. You can also do a french baguette or breadsticks. Fruit, in one form or another, is definitely a must for a perfect platter. You can choose dried fruit or fresh fruit (such as grapes, apples, cantaloupe or pears). Finish it off with any extras you may like: hummus, olives, or even a yummy nut mix. Have fun with it! Add your personality and don’t be afraid to try new things.
2. Stock up on wine.
-
- As we kiss summer goodbye and welcome fall, many people think that means it’s time to put away the white wine. But you can enjoy a crisp and refreshing glass of white in the fall as well! I’ve been loving several wines from the Spanish wine regions of
-
- . Each have a vibrant, bold, and crisp taste and pair well with just about anything. I highly recommend grabbing a bottle of Rueda wine at your local wine shop or you can shop online
- (use promo code RUEDA for 10% off!).
3. Grab your blankets, cuddle up and enjoy your girlfriends!
- Put your phones down and truly enjoy your time together. Put on some music or your favorite chick flick. Pretty soon it will (hopefully) even be cold enough to turn on the fire.

After I originally commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on each time a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment. There has to be a means you can remove me from that service? Thanks a lot!
