I know that our lives on social media are many times portrayed as being “perfect”. We don’t want to show others the struggles of our daily lives, but instead use our platforms as a highlight reel. But I’ve also tried to be honest with you guys that I TOO struggle, and have many real things going on in my own life that aren’t perfect but instead are really, really hard. Yet even when Satan is trying to bring me to my knees, I actively try to show others kindness. I fall short of always being my best self, of course, because I am only human… but I also pray for God to continue to mold my heart to love others, no matter who they are.
You are never too important to be nice to people.
Kindness is a gift that everyone can give. So, today I challenge you to go out of your way to show kindness to someone. It is the greatest gift you can give them, and yourself. ♥
